That was boring! I kept watching to hope she did something dynamic but...I sure hope that lesson wasn't for kids or..adults..or anyone.

It was amusingly boring and the lesson would have been better if it were printed on a paper instead of made into a video, but at least it was clear. I've seen worse stuff on TV.

I wouldn't put it into the "worst ever" category ... At least what it was teaching was correct ... It had a stated purpose to explain the difference between lend and borrow and that is what it did clearly ...
Boring yes ... Engaging no ... But it was short and it did clearly explain it .. The relatively small number of words it used ... could actually make it easier and more effective than many of the dynamic, trying to be engaging lessons that we often teach ... because at least sometimes in most school classrooms we use words and give explanations which use English at a level our students do not understand ... and which therefore prevent what may look like an engaging, non boring lesson from actually being effective.

I agree with icicle. As an online lesson, I really didn't see anything wrong with the approach. It reminded me of Rosetta Stone, but was even a little more (ahem) interesting.

If I were studying English it's highly possible that I would've learned something here.

I agree with the previous posters. Boring doesn't necessarily mean bad.

I cheat and use Korean for borrow/lend (빌리다 / 빌려주다).

Those folks who stand there for 5 minutes 'concept checking' (waffling on, in other words) or showing long, boring videos instead of speaking Korean for 2 seconds make me chuckle. Laughing Laughing
