It looks like all the threads about the CRAZY HAPPY INTERNATIONAL PARTIES got pulled.

Ha ha ha ha

That's what they deserve as no one from that organization cares to answer the questions people post about the parties.

The host of these parties made a big mistake charging foreigners 15,000 won to go to them.

The parties should have been FREE for foreigners because WE are the main reason Koreans bother to go to these parties.

No foreigners and then these parties are just like any other Korean parties.

I went to a party and had sex with 2833993 women afterwards. It was a spiritually enlightening moment and I soon hope to be at one with my vedic self.

All Hail Lord Xenu!

I actually went to the last one. I did what I always do when I want to avoid paying the cover charge: show up in the last hour.

Prognosis:

The "party" was way too loud and way too dark for any meaningful interaction or practicing of English to be possible. The food was second rate, and the beer was shit. It looked and felt EXACTLY like the illegal basement keg paties one wanders to as a freshman at U.S. university, complete with awakard pimply teenagers and dirty guys in their late twenites hitting on first year uniskanks. Those looking to cop a feel and slow dance were not dissppointed. Some of those looking to get a blowjob or get laid got lucky, others went home at the end of the final hour looking annoyed. The considerable amount of unfortunates who thought they'd get to practice their English looked VERY put off.

Just go to Hongdae, the cover charges are cheaper, the girls are cuter, there's far less white competition, and nobody's desperately trying to pump you for English.
