My co-workers are going to Korea. Really excited. They're Chinese. I felt an urge to say something like "Tell them to say hello to____________!" Or, "Try eating some________________". And, "You should visit _______________!", I mused.
Instead I lied and said You'll like the Koreans. Or maybe I didn't lie.
Honestly, I couldn't think of what to tell them, my Korean long since dead, my memories, you know, kaput. But deep inside. . .I didn't want to let them down. Nothing came to mind that I'd thought they'd be sure to enjoy 'without hindrance in some way, shape or form.(By the way, would you tell your parents to go to Korea?)
Sure, I told them the scenery's fantastic, but that's about it. Said the Korean's are big hearted. And being the unseasoned traveler that I am, the most fabulous sights I'd seen were Sorak-san.
So, any suggestions? |
