Anyone else going to the opening match of the Peace Cup 2007? I'll be at the match on Thursday at Seoul World Cup Stadium between Seongnam Ilhwa and Bolton Wanderers!

Can't wait! I haven't seen a Bolton match in over 5 years! That's way too long.

Is it possible to get tickets for any of the games in advance? Anyone know how to do it?

The match starts at 7:00 PM. There are games all around Korea.

The website is here. Tickets can be bought online at this site, I believe. My wife bought the ticket for me. There is apparently a 500 won charge for telephone reservations, but it's worth it. My wife couldn't figure out the website, so she says the phone is a good deal. The number is on the website.

I got some seat called "2nd tier" which is basically GA. Who cares? I'll just sit wherever I want. I only care that I'm there so I can finally see a Bolton match again.

Just got the details from my wife, there are 3 pricing levels. The lowest is 18,000 and she has no idea what it is. Probably GA in the worst seats. 2nd Tier is the middle, 24,000, and you get a seat in a given section. The top tier is 50,000 and that is a reserved seat.

Cheers

Of course, the pages with the most hits are those of the "Peace girls":

I can't go to the game on Thurs because I live too far away from Seoul. But I certainly intend to go to a game on the weekend and next Monday (since Tuesday is a national holiday).
