Well? And I have no qualms staying at a sex hotel if they're cheaper. When they ask me how many hours I want, I'll just reply "all of them". and go to bed unlaid. |

mate, there's a place in the alley that runs parallel to itaewon road.
so go to where burger king used to be not far from the cop shop. walk about 50 metres down the road that joins itaewon road at the subway station and take the first alley on the left where you should see a few food stalls on your rite and a kebab shop on ur left.
now go forward about 20 metres and keep an eye on the right. there should be two darkened glass double doors with white hangul on them i think. 30.000 a night. all good, A/C and fan, comfy bed. just walk on up the steps and make some noise and the lil ajumma will pop her head up no worries |

Don't forget to open the windows if you turn on the fan |

HI Peter Dragon how are you!? Thanks again for the motorbike ride
I think you can cheaper than 30 a night, or at least if you are going to pay 30, surely you can get nicer than that, although that IS nice and central. There is a Go-shi Tel (simple room) right behind 3 Alleys Bar. It looks clean from what I see. Or, some love hotels a short distance from Itaewan, closer to SamGakJi station, although they may be more expensive.....
Good luck |

Go to the Tourist Information centre in the subway - they have a list of hotels and motels. Cheapest non-shared I've seen is 25,000 (30,000 on weekends) and 14,000 shared. |

I'm cranky, Natalie, for reasons outlined here: http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=92433
The motorcycle ride was my pleasure of course. Already trying to trade in my 125 toward a 250; what can I say, size maters . I've wound up going with the 30k hotel. I like the central location, and wanna be rested, as *in theory* I start my new job tomorrow after some delays. |

The one above McDonalds is 30,000 during the week, but I think it's 40,000 on the weekends. |

I was at the one above McDonalds this weekend (40,000 won). No one was at the reception for a good ten minutes when I arrived, but the room was not too bad (minus a mosquito or two). |

Yeah, it's the Seoul Motel. As far as crappy hotel rooms go, it wasn't too bad. Didn't look like you could catch too many VD's from the bed. I also had to wait about 5-10 minutes for someone to show up at reception, but overall, it's a decent value. Didn't even hear any people getting their groove on. But it was a Thursday, so maybe Thursdays are just unsexy days. |
