I've been in Korea for two weeks now and im still yet to find some of the folowing things. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

1. Cider - I saw this on a menu when i first got and thought 'result' but had a bit of a shock when i got a lemonade instead!! Wheres the Scrumpy hidding??

2. Wheatgrass - fresh or powdered will do.

3. Protein powder - I've checked out the sports shops round Dongdamun Stadium but had no luck. Also found a GNC store but it wasnt a thing like the ones back home.

any info on this stuff would be mucho mucho appreciated!!!

I've never seen English cider anywhere in Korea, but Japanese cider is available in some supermarkets and department stores.

I saw protein powder for sale at the Lotte Dept. Store connected to Lotte World (Jamshil). They have a GNC there.

Cider doesn't exist in Korea - not even in the *English* pub at Hilton. I ordered one and they looked at me like I was some kind of an idiot. I ordered a bitter shandy instead and I had to tell them how to make it!

You can go to Namdaemun for protein powder. Do a search on it for directions. It has been posted many times.

Or get a Korean friend to help you order off of www.mass119.com

I've also seen protein powder in Shinchon - the little market near the subway - they get the stuff off the base and sell it along side of doritos, cheetos, tylenol, and whatever else American.

Probably cheaper if you could get on the U.S. base itself though. I think I also saw protein powder at costco.

Wheatgrass is nearly impossible. Two of my friends who speak fluent Korean and lived here for a long time actually brought some back from the U.S. specifically because they looked everywhere here and could not find it. If anyone knows of where to find wheatgrass, would be great for me to tell them I learned of a place however! So please share if you know where to find it! But I have a feeling it can't be found here.
