I've sent two different couples over to Korea (my cousin and her husband and one of my co-workers and her husband) and it was because I spoke so glowingly of the food, lifestyle, people, weather (I kinda lied my way through that part) and just the experience in general.

It's terrible...I trap these people and talk to them about Korea and show them extensive photo albums of the sights over there and basically tell them if they DON'T go they're seriously missing out on a cool-ass thing in life (I can't remember...is "ass" a banned word on this forum?) and they actually GO! My endorsement of all things Korean must be pretty convincing.

Anyhoo....I miss Korea. I like my life here, but damn, I miss Korea.

Sweet. Somebody replied. And VanIslander, at that!

I swore off this message board after I reintegrated myself in the states and have been perfectly happy to be away...until tonight.

Is it the wine? Is it the hot July weather?

Anyway, this is totally eff-ing self-indulgent, but it feels great to be back! Thanks, guys!

It's been said before: You can take the boy out of Korea, but you can't take Korea out of the boy.

I missed it so much I went back.

Five years in Korea, now two in Japan, and I still miss Korea madly every day. If it was not for a woman I would be back there right now.

Ask an Italian!

Whats that french saying? something like "Always look for the woman".
meaning in every situation, a woman is usually at the heart of it.

I've not even left yet and I already miss it. Or have a strong sense of how much I'm going to miss it.

Can somebody please explain this to me? Why do Americans think that the British have bad teeth? I am British and have very nice teeth Smile
