I have a very good heavy duty one here. Are these expensive in Korea? Do you know how much they cost? Power outages often in Ulsan? The one I have is so heavy, it is prohibitive to bring!

Are adapters available in Korea? Again, how much, do you know?

Thanks for your help Smile

I've never heard of surge protectors that run both 110 and 220. And, I have no idea of what sort of "adaptor" you could be referring to...a plug adapter?

yes, surge protectors are expensive here, like fifty, sixty bucks for one on the black market. You can find them by looking for cigs and scotch being hawked by little kids on the street, and you need them to because Ulsan only has power for about three hours per day. If you are really lucky the well for your apartment building will be close by.
