I'm teaching every day this summer. On top of that, I get a new class every day.
Like: Mon - Class 1-1, Tues Class 1-2, Wed Class 1-3 ...... to Class 3-6.
I only have 1 lesson plan so I'll be teaching the same lesson over 20 times to 20 different classes. Including the classes I've taught during the semester, at the end of summer, I would have taught every single student at my school. How many Korean Teachers can ever say that? |

I don't know of any Korean teachers who could say that ... but it also describes what my normal week is like ... My middle school only has 1st and 2nd class at the moment .. (Only two years old) ... with 18 classes ... I teach 1 lesson with each class each week ... and so far we have used the same lesson with each class ... (I work out what to do - not based on text book - they use that in the normal English classes which are split on English ability) ... I know that it is a lesson which improves over the course of the week ... as you work out what does and doesn't work ... This is especially the case in the first 2 lessons I do ...

over the course of a normal week I teach every kid at my school.
At my last school, it was every two weeks.
Not to belittle your accomplishment but is that a big thing? |

Man, you definately got the shit end of the stick.
You need to have serious talk with your handlers about the way they're handling you. Let them know that you have 15 sick days to your disposal. |

While many of us do end up teaching every student in the school over the course of a week ... It is another thing altogether to teach that many students over the vacation period ... The only positive thing is that you don't have to plan more than one lesson ... While I am going to see less students in my summer school class than I have in even one normal class ... I am going to need to plan a 90 minute lesson for each day (and do it twice) ... which means I have much more prep to do than I normally do ... But I am still looking forward to it ...
