that thread 'why are koreans obsessed with body image?' was what triggered this
it's like 'Why do old men in Korea get drunk and make sleazy comments to girls?' 'why do drunk people in korea try and start stupid conversations with me?' 'Why is everyone in such a state on saturday night in Korea?' 'Why do Koreans make bitchy comments' etc etc
I have my complaints about this country as well, but I do think it's funny some of the stuff that people moan about on here |

Moaning about Korea? I'm pretty sure Korea likes it when someone moans out her name...wouldn't you? |

You moan your own name when you whank? Man, that's so egotistical.

THIS IS A GREAT POST!
Too much whining here getting in the way of good old fashioned mocking. Some things I read here and hear from people have me shaking my head in disbelief
1. "I went to the post office/bank/supermarket etc. and NO ONE could speak English. I couldn't believe it". You idiot. Where the heck do you think you're living?
2. "Why are Koreans so loud when they eat?" That's just how they do it. Eating habits are one of the few things left that help separate cultures from each other. Don't attack them.
3. "Eating dog is disgusting" Yes, and to a lot of the world eating cows and pigs are equally disgusting. Get over yourself.
4. "My stupid boss keeps taking me out drinking" Unless you're in AA, or it's for one of those "other" religions, get over yourself.
5. "I hate seeing Korean squat." Now, the guy who always writes this is a regular here and pretty much a class act. Very intelligent and respectable, but I just can't understand this complaint.
That's all for now. I'm sure I'll come up with some more. |
