I've heard many jobs there are shady. Anyone find a good one from that site? My last one wasn't legal, only lasted a few months till they got another teacher. They're posting for a new teacher for November (Discovery School in Sungbuk Gu, Seoul, between Hyehwa and Hansung Univ., near the Hansung station line#4). Not a great working environment. Maybe there are a few good jobs on that site? |

Someone is going all-out to trash that site. For whatever reason, it's obvious. Tons of bogus jobs are being posted to look legitimate. Personally, I've wondered if it was one of the other "pay" sites trying to discredit them as they are becoming more and more popular. Someone has a sick sense of humor.
And yes -- I would avoid ANYTHING to do with the Discovery School name. Their other branch (now closed) is the school responsible for my immigration troubles. |

I replied to a part-time gig over the summer. No problems. |

I've browsed it a few times. Sure there are some posts that are blatant screwiness, but at least on that board you sometimes get some useful and deep information you wouldn't get here, which is primarily due to deletions of posts. It's like you can either have a website which is all clean, or you can have one which isn't pure clean but you get some pieces of information that could turn out to be personally useful for yourself, simply because it wasn't deleted. |
