Does anyone have experience with or has heard about the recruiting agency Canada 2 Korea? In their job posting http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/korea/index.cgi?read=10172 they sound like they're on the up and up but who knows...

Thanks for the help!

They are looking for a degree or a 3 year college diploama. That might be nitpicking, but look into it.

Hello there,
My name is Dave Taylor. I used Canada 2 Korea and had a very bad experience. I did not like them because of the fact that on their web page it says that if you had any problems there would be someone there. Well that's a farce. There was no body there.
The school that they placed me at I didn't like the working conditions. They then gave me another school. That was a terrible experience as well. So I just came back home. I'm happy now. So happy to be back.
The second school that they sent me had me working at 2 hagwans. I didn't know that it was illegal. I brought it up to them and they just brushed me off with even caring about my situation.
Spring who is one of the recuiters is very hard to understand. Mike is the other one. He seems alright but dosn't say anything.
Email me if you want more information,
Thanks,
Dave Taylor

I came to Korea through Canada 2 Korea. But I was placed in a public school, so you can't really go wrong with that.
my school paid 700,000 won to them for recruiting fees. my co-teacher at that time complained that it was too expensive.
on their website they used my name for a testimonial which they wrote themselves!!! Thats a bit odd and makes me wonder about the other testimonials.
I'm here in Korea, I'm happy with my school. Canada 2 Korea did work hard to get me to come here but like all recruiting agencies, you're on your after you get here.
Oh and as for Spring, she scares me.
