|
|
A few years back I remember Hanmail being a sod to email.
I recently started working on a pen pal project with students at my old school.
I collected all the emails from interested korean students. Had them typed into a nice list and sent it to the other school where more experienced students have setup a committee to match the students up.
They have tried to email the students here with questionnaires to complete to help them pair of easily. They are getting frustrated that there were no replies.
The students here are getting frustrated that the other students hadn't been in touch.
I chased up the old school to get them to send me an email and some of my students here a test email. My email being Gmail theirs being Naver.
My email came through theirs didn't.
Are all the major Korean email providers blocking foreign emails. There were no bounce backs or not delivered messages.
I am having to now go through the slow process of getting 100 Korean students to sign up to Gmail or Hotmail.
So is this a problem? |

Did you check the spam box?
Anyways, this problem has been an issue for several years. Don't know why... |

Nothing in their spam.
Strange isn't it that they think nobody outside of korea would want to email in. |
