Hi,

Unfortunately my company PC does not recognize my iPOD. As a result, I use public PCs. Is there a way I can save existing songs when plugging into a new computer? Everyime I plug my iPOD into a new PC, I'm forced to "erase and "resync."

I was told creating playlists is the solution? Is there another solution? If so, what's the easiest?

Thanks in advance for your patience to what I think might be a *dumb* question ... I guess it's the yellow dust?

Got off my lazy ass and called Apple Korea customer service ... I found the solution ... it simply involves changing from "Automatic" to "Manual" mode.

there is no installation cd...you have to download the software from apple...at least that was true for my nano.
