I had students do a worksheet today on categories.

I pulled it out of a British English book so it had some nice new words in it for them.

Categories were simple enough. Places, furniture, clothes, food, parts of the body.

Some of them found it difficult but they were interested in these strange words being used,

More than one student decided that 'plums' were part of the body.

I had a nice quiet laugh to myself about it.

Do any other countries refer to ones *beep* as their plums?
