Currently working at a hagwon and my contract is ending in September07. If I find another hagwon that I may be interested in working at would I need to request for another official transcript from my university school all over again. Ten months ago I sent one to imigration for the contract I'm currently on. Would Immigration still have my official transcripts on file? Thanks for listening. |

If you change employers you need a FULL SET of new documents again.
This includes:
Original or EMBASSY CERTIFIED copy of your degree
Original, SEALED transcripts,
resume,
photos,
copy of your passport. |

Talk about a need for change...It is funny that Korean documents are kept quite neatly in Government databases for access, and never in need of resubmission, but they can't figure out to create a retreival system for people who have been working in this country legally for more than two years...I had to take my documents for the first three years I was in Korea just so they could look at them and say, okay they are the real thing...Talk about needing a change in the system...OR is this just another way to exercise control over people who have other things to do with their time than always visiting immigration to show them the same documents over again, OR having to resubmit new documents when the first one's they received could easily have been scanned and filed in a database once they were approved the first time... |
