where can i find a decent ash tray? i've scoured lotte and e-mart, and all i found was a tiny glass dish of some kind that sort of resembled an ash tray in shape. it is inadequate.

cigarettes are practically free here and everybody chain smokes. so where are the ash trays? what do the koreans do, ash in the floor and throw the butt out the window or something?

i want a great big heavy ash tray with the little notches in it to hold your cigarette. yep.

I bought incense holders (the round ones) for gifts since I couldn't find ashtrays.

What's wrong with a paper cup with a bit of wet tissue and spit in it???

I'm joking. Good ashtrays are hard to find.

I 'acquired' mine from a few hotels.

While without an ashtray, take the opportunity to quit smoking.

Most bars that use the cheap tin ones don't mind if you snag one. Ask first, of course.

Cutesy stationary stores tend to have them. I've seen ddong-shaped ones, ones that look like animal heads, but it's rare to find just a normal ashtray.

One of the funniest ones I've seen had a little smiling ciggy butt on the lid saying "Don't quit! I need you!"

Why bother with an ashtray? You never empty it anyway.

Smokers are slobs.
