I've never been to that Costco and was thinking of buying root beer to make root beer floats for my English Camp students. Question is...Do they sell root beer at Costco?
Thanks,

| Doubt it. Every Korean I know who's tried root beer hates it, says it tastes like cold medicine. Why not just do coke floats instead? |

That sounds like a damn good idea....
It didn't even occur to me...Thanks!
My uncle is in the army here so perhaps I could get him to buy it but if my students won't like it then it will be a wasted effort

Root Beer!
Alyallen, why did you have to bring that up? I have't drank that stuff in over 4 years and almost forgot about it.
Well my mom still sends me red and black licorace in the mail, and she also brought me ketchup and dill pickle potato chips when she came to visit a few months age; so I guess it's not that bad.
But root beer! Root beer floats! |

I had a friend in the army buy rootbeer for me so that I could make floats for my students, and they loved it. I let some older students (high school age) try it without ice cream, and all but one loved it. He said it tasted like a candy bar. lol
What the kids didn't like was applesauce. I made it for them, and for the most part, they didn't like it. They didn't like how it looked, but when they tried it, some liked it. Oh well, more for me and the other teachers. The Korean adults liked it!
Oh, another funny one was stuffing. We had an American Thanksgiving dinner, and I made some stuffing from scratch. When I took it in, they asked if it was dog food. Once they tasted it though, they absolutely loved it. If I remember correctly, there wasn't one bit left! |

My father in-law loves the stuff (as do I)
Itaewon is the only place I can find it. |

Interesting...
I am actually not a big soda drinker so this sounds silly but Dr. Pepper is readily available here? |
