|
|
A coworker went for two job interviews. One with an American company. One with a Korean company.
American company interview questions: What are your strengths? What are you weaknesses? What can you bring to this job?
Korean company: Are you married? Do you have a boyfriend? Why aren't you married? When do you plan on getting married? Why do you look older than the photo you attached to your resume? |

They are both useless interviews.
Useful interviews either give you situations and ask how you'd respond or ask how you've dealt with a specific situation they ask about.
Ex.
-A coworker in your department finds a major error in a project you've been working on for the past couple of months. He goes to your superiors (without talking to you) and tells them how you've wasted company time on this project and that you are intentionally trying to hide a major issue (your mistake) that you discovered a month ago because you didn't want to admit your incompetents.
-Tell me about a time the conflict arose in your job and how you handled it. |
