Depends what you mean by "good". You can usually meet some interesting people and listen to alternative music/live bands in Commune Bar. If you're North American (especially Canadian), Thunderbirds is an option, particularly if you want to watch North American sports. Itaewon bar has a pool table, but expect to meet many GIs there and witness many fights. As for clubs...plenty of hip hop clubs (Gypsy Rock, Frog, Monkey, Bubble) but there all much of a muchness and not my style of music.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not much of a hip hop club person. I prefer alternative stuff. Commune bar sounds best. Will it be full of foreigners though?

Yes, though there will be some Koreans - mostly girlfriends of Westerners. You have to remember that many Koreans aren't into alternative music and so you won't see many in a bar that plays that genre.

Old Skool is also a cool place. They also have a pool table. The music is sometimes by request and the staff there is friendly.
