Good article.
But as a foreign teacher, teaching big classes in Korea once a week. I have a more effective idea.

I know sometimes OR most of the time what foreign teachers actually do in this country is not appreciated...I just think we must do whatever we can to continue developing ourselves as professionals...Remember, there is life after Korea for 95%+ of the people who come to this country...Take the good, leave out the bad and you will have a fairly good experience, unless you spend all of your free time doing nothing...
I really try to improve what I know and how I teach because it enhances my personal development...I have a lot of years of teaching experience, but there is always something else to learn...Your picture is an adequate description for many who are clueless as to how to improve their instructional skills... |

I know. Sorry, I'm just teasing. However, I *do* take my job seriously, because, well, it's my personality, and I'm sure I will teach again in the future. But it would be soooooooo easy to take the low road, and it would
be just as rewarding externally if not internally.
Sorry, for the thread hi-jack. Back to the article... |

Wonder who wrote it, and what possible connection that person might have to you? Or even the site you are linking to? |
