I am a newbie and I am considering a teaching position in Seodaemun-gu. Can someone tell me what this city is like? Does it have many foreigners? Does it have decent shopping and restaurants?  |

Pretty good area of Seoul. Northwest side of the city, close to several major universities with good social areas including Sinchon, Hongdae. You're also a short ride from City Hall and Jongno.
I lived there last year and had a blast. |
