It turns out that there's a reasonable budget at my disposal for the coming semester: 500,000 won.

I've memberships to two decent online EFL resource sites, but this seems to be money for more 'concrete' EFL materials. The sites to which I subscribe are EFL4U and One Stop English.

I've run the gamut of available conversation texts, e.g. Interchange, Chatterbox, Reward, Survival English, etc, etc, so I know which way I'll go if I'm to buy something along those lines. I was wondering what others would spend this cash on when it comes to video resources or 'EFL toys' (to satisfy the 'concrete' requirement) or online membership sites that are worth the cash, i.e. websites that are truly unique.

Currently, I'm teaching upper elementary (grades 5 and 6) and middle school, but suggestions for good material with any age group as a target are welcome as it can always be adapted or saved for a rainy day.

I've already asked if the cash can be misappropriated and no luck, so let me know where I should spend these lottery winnings if you've any ideas.

Do you already have a TV and DVD player? Maybe a library of videos would be a good place to invest the cash--once you've made the lesson plan you can use it again and again. Good speakers are also nice for karaoke-ing.

Then again if you're dealing with elementary students buying more markers / construction paper / poster board / laminate is never a bad idea.

Personally I wish my classroom was carpeted so the acoustics would be better.

Depending on the classroom, I may or may not have a TV, but I'd have a computer and a projector, so I could always use a DVD.

What DVD series in particular would you recommend, Jizzo?
