What's the cheapest way to get from Seoul to Tokyo. I heard it was train/ferry/train? Is this right? Thanks. |

Seoul KTX to Pusan, overnight ferry to Fuokuoka then a train ride up/over Japan to Tokyo. It would take very long but you definitely see a heckuva lot more. |

I was looking into this recently for a trip to tokyo. I decided on the plane ticket b/c it was about the same price but much more convenient...
Say 50K to busan
80ish for the ferry
~150 for the train ticket (the trains in japan are mondo expensive)
So 280 one way, 560 coming back (with the potential for discounts w/ round trip tickets)
If you're looking for convenience go with a plane ticket, but the train/ferry rides would be a lot more interesting. |
