anyone who reads the news has probably heard of most of this. but it's an interesting little introduction for newbies or those who don't pay attention.

That was hilarious and frightning at the same time.

The pig one went too far. But I did laugh out lound for the finger cutters.

And a prostitution protest?

I wish I saw that one in person.

I'll say it again: South Koreans Bring the Noise like none other. None of that namby-pamby non-violent resistance on the ROK!

Thanks.
Looking at those pictures makes one wonder "Who are the REAL animals?"

The pig protest is especially awful.

There are some really horrible people among Koreans.

Really.

Whenever I see protests by South Koreans I always think that America could learn a thing or two. In America it's either following the status quo, walking on the marked path, chanting the same slogans, or smashing windows of chain stores. One is ignored completely and the other is what the media puts on as the face of protesters; radical, dangerous, and un-American.

But in Korea they get passionate about it. Sure some of the tactics may be a bit out there but I wonder how much coverage that protest with the pig would have gotten compared to how much it did if the pig hadn't been brutalized.

The problem with some Korean protests is that they often go TOO far, and the story becomes about the antics, not the reason behind it.

The problem with these types of protests is that the Koreans wearing suits and the rest of the world sees this stuff and just says "Look at those dumbasses!" Nothing gets solved. These guys just look like a bunch of fools.

I just had a Chinese buddy recently remind me of the parliament brawl. He was still laughing over it saying "Those silly Koreans!"

That was fun. Although I voted for bee man, I love this photo:

Well said. Can not bring myself to look at those photos. I am fed up with the way animals are treated here. Trying not to judge, but it's damn hard.

I saw the picture above and thought about the villagers coming to Frankenstein's crib.

Did you see the piglet's face? That is horrific. These people are nothing more than barbarians. I cannot believe that. Well, its Koreans, so I can.

Complete and utter medieval barbarians. I don't even care that much about animals, but doing that to a living creature is vile and evil.
