Chungnam or Gangwon?

Hey guys.

I'm doing a last minute EPIK application and have to give a preference for one of these provinces.

I don't think I can find out the city.

From what I can gather Gangwon is very rural with mountains, and Chungnam is nearer to Seoul, but I can't get much further than that right now.

Any thoughts on the differences, and which to choose?
