One sex shop in the Honch, Orange Massage, recently was the object of a police raid. A police report said a 7th Fleet sailor was found naked on the bed and contraceptives and lotions were seized from a woman dressed in red at his side.
The sailor was released so he could make it back to the base in time for his midnight curfew, police said.
Three South Korean masseuses were arrested, two on expired visas, according to the police. They told police that sailors keep the shops in business.
They said they each take in the yen equivalent of $5,000 to $6,000 a month. Half goes to their manager � a 39-year-old Korean man, according to police.
Most of the women decide to come to Yokosuka on a short-term visa, and once that expires their job opportunities dwindle to places like illegal massage shops, said the community safety division official.

While many women are forced into prostitution in one way or another, this article doesn't say anything about that. Specifically, it doesn't mention anything about Koreans being forced into prostitution.
What exactly are you hinting at? |

| Too funny... Prostitution is rampant is Japan. There are endless blocks of red-light districts, massage parlors, "health" salons, pink salons, costume play parlors, delivery health providers etc etc etc. However, the police choose to go after the gaijin parlors that are very far and few between in comparison... |

Exactly. She's running the risk of being another Almond Tease by doing it abroad. She needs to work in Korea. After all, when you're talking about the sex industry:

I had never heard of her until the Korean press started making a big deal about her. I quickly became an Almond Tease fan along with many Dave's posters. 
Some kid at a school where she taught saw her in an online movie clip having sex with some white dude in Canada (the unpardonable sin). I don't know what ever happened to her, but she was in a lot of trouble over it and was definitely having to pay several million won in fines. I don't know if she went to jail or not.
I wish she had been working at my hagwon. I would've paid her fines. She was so adorable and didn't deserve what happened.
I'm going to wear an I Luv Almond Tease shirt next time I'm in Seoul. |

I still haven't seen any proof it was this "Almond Tease" woman- the newspaper article I read on it didn't print her stage or real name. How is everyone so sure of this woman's identity? |
