Have a job teaching in Seoul near Namyeong starting in September. I know Seoul fairly well, having lived in Daegu for five years and traveling there frequently. However, I know nothing about finding housing there and I won't arrive in Korea (in the States now) until a week prior to starting work.
I have a wife and young child, so I'm not necessarily looking to live near Hongdae or Shinchon. Are any areas around Namyeong decent? What's the current key money (전세) and rent (월세) situation on, let's say, a 2-bedroom ~25-pyeong apartment in that area?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as the thought of hauling my wife and daughter around Seoul looking for a place to live has me up at night. |
