Does anyone here know the deal on how much you can send home? I have heard a few different things....
1) 2/3's of your salary.
2) Up to $10,000 yankee bucks
3) Up to $10,000 yankee bucks, but if you leave the country (say a trip to japan for a weekend) and come back, it gets reset again to zero.
Could you let me know what is up!...Working alot of extra work and want to see when this becomes a problem and if it will....
Thanks money makers...errr....Educators

Send as much as you want, but if you do wire transfers and end up sending over $10,000 US, you have to get a letter from your employer that you make the money legally. |

All you need to do is get a statement which officially says you earned the money in a legit way. So if you work for a public school you can ask the administration office to give you a form that outlines your entire salary up to that point and then get it officially signed or stamped by the school. Then take that form to the bank and you can send as much money as you have earned, whether it be 50, 000, 000 W or 1, 000, 000 W.
