The foreigners, that is!

They avoid eye-contact and try not to acknowledge each other.

Upon discovering this, I felt a little closer to my ESL brethren in the land of the rising sun.

And in Hong Kong, too. One foreign girl did speak to me while we were shopping though. Also, lo and behold the white guys I saw with Chinese girls were girls the local guys would probably turn their noses up at. I saw one white dude kissing his chubby Chinese girlfriend in Times Square, and she looked at me with the evil eye when i walked by. I thought, "Honey, he's all yours". He was chubby and bald, too. Then she went in some store, and he proceeded to walk off without her, behind me. Oh boo-hoo, I'll cry because he wasn't with me. I also noticed the foreigners in HK didn't seem as weird as the ones here, and the girls were not so big either. All the ones I saw were skinny to average sized. I saw one fat white girl in a week's time. The white guys wee still big and bald though.
