Here's a question: Can you buy non-alcoholic beer in Korea? I've never seen it anywhere, so does it exist?
For those of you from Canada, you probably know about President's Choice non-alcoholic beer (under .5% alcohol), in regular and rose. In Canada, they stock the non-alcoholic beer away from all the regular beer/wine (the kind with alcohol in it.) I imagine if they have it here in Korea, they do it the same way, as I've never seen any on the beer shelves here. |

The only place I've seen some is in noraebangs and highway rest areas. The cans are usually made up to look like the most popular brands of Korean beer. |

Ok, so I'm an alcoholic and I assume this is why you want dealcoholized beer. But the stuff really tastes like crap dude. Do you really like it? |

They carry bottles and cans of nonalcoholic malt liguor at SM Ching hai vegetarian restaurant, Vegelove cafe, and vegelove bakeries (check out veggie club threads for directions how to get there...)
I also discovered that "Hite" makes an NA beer named "Lite". I saw cans of it at the Seoul Racecourse park (which prohibits drinking alcohol on the premises...) Although they only have races on weekends, the park is open during the week, and the snack bar in the parking lot (near the waterfall) is the one that carries it... |

I see it at Korean rest stops. Miller makes one.
I hate the fact that I can't buy a cold beer on a bus trip, but with Koreans being such poor drivers, I understand why they don't sell beer. |

Hi
They stock NA beer at Hannam market - it's called Hofe and it's not too bad. 1000 a can. |
