There are very few things in life more disappointing than bland potato salad. It's a reality and it isn't my fault; it's just an uncomfortable fact of life.

It's summertime and with all the talk of American beef coming back into the country (FINALLY!!!), I have been getting urges for a big, fat, juicy hamburger. The absolute topper was when GS Mart up the street produced some hamburger buns, complete with sesame seed buns (!!!). I spent all week thinking about big, fat, juicy hamburgers, maybe with a slice of cheese melted on top. Then I thought about what I should make for my Saturday lunch, to go with them.

It didn't take all that long to decide. Potato Salad. With just a capful, maybe a capful and a half, of vinegar to go with the yellow mustard to give it some zip. Not to mention some celery seed.

Enjoy your cold kimbap. Very Happy

A couple of times I served potato salad to a Korean friend or three. Not a good idea. They all turned up their nose and one even had the temerity to say I shouldn't leave anything made with mayo out--it will spoil. Rolling Eyes
