Anybody out there bought tickets from Incheon to Australia or New Zealand? I am brainstorming a trip there after my contract in January and wanted to know the best way/agent/website to go through.
Is one month enough to see New Zealand or Australia? I'm thinking of the South Island of NZ and then maybe a week or two in Sydney and one other spot on the East Coast.
thx,

I just paid 1.3 mil for a return to auckland in december/january on www.xanadu.co.kr . Apparently you have to book it about now to NZ cos otherwise the planes all fill up. (NZ is a popular tourist destination in koreas winter). a month for NZ is probably enough. (Im a kiwi). pm me for anything more. |

flights to NZ in the Korean winter can not only be expensive but damn near impossible.
If i were you i would go either NZ or Australia.
If you have a month and it is NZ that you go too
4-5 days -Northland amazing beaches cheap fruit
1 week+ -auckland down to wellington via coromandel (coromandel is a must see)
3-4 days -cross the straight down to christchurch/dundin
1 week+ -west coast south island via queenstown (spend a couple of days in queenstown)
remaining time up the west coast of north island to auckland.
Thats bout a month right
I would allow $2000 grand not including flights, staying in backpackers but living well.
I would also recommend buying a car in auckland ($1000 late 80s jap car) public transport in NZ sucks. You should be able to sell it for about the same as what you paid for it
pm if you want more info ( i am living in auckland at the mo) |
