My old Acer Ferrari 3200 died after 3 years of loyal service. I may have something to offer for people who need replacement parts or want to upgrade their older laptops. And yes, I do know that majority of people see laptop upgrades as difficult to do and stupid. It's neither... or maybe I'm just too geeky? Anyway, below are the parts I salvaged before I recycled the carcass. If someone is interested in upgrading their older laptops I'm open to reasonable (this is for Spliff! ) offers.
MEMORY
MICRON DDR333/PC2700 256MB
MT8VDDT3264HDG-335C3 CL2.5 (two sticks)
Note: Originally in the laptop when I bought it.
Upgraded to this without any problems:
KINGSTON DDR400/PC3200 1024MB
KVR400X64SC3A/1G CL3 (two sticks)
PROCESSOR
AMD Mobile Athlon 64 2800+
1.8GHz single core(!), socket 754, fully 64bit capable, TDP 35W
Mobile CPU that can also be used in some desktops as well. Might be good for a passive cooled HTPC?
WIRELESS LAN CARD
Model: Broadcom BCM4306, 802.11b/g
Note: Can only be used in notebooks that have mini PCI connection.
LCD
15" SGXA+ (1400*1050, 4:3 not wide)
Model: N150P2-L04
Used (that I know of) in some ACER and IBM models.
If you don't know if a part can be used in your laptop, try using google or search the forums at NotebookForums.com. There are many people who have "pimped out" their lappies.

EDIT: Removed parts that have found a new home.
