Ukraine- Nebraska of Europe. If you are from the midwest US, you can't tell you really went anywhere. It looks exactly the same. Exactly excpet the people drink way more and are much much less fat. The women that maintain look really hot. Its been a long time since I've been treated so well. The men get a little upset but I can't blame them.
Kiyv is dull unless I missed something and Odessa, the tropical playground of the Soviet elite has a really dumpy beach. It has Jersey shore feel to it. I missed the Potemkin Steps but I can catch that on the way back.

Odessa the Tropical playground of the Soviet elite? Where did you get that idea? I believe Yalta and Sochi where the getaway spots, I have never heard of anybody Ukie, Ruskie or other refer to Odessa as anything more than an industrial port city with serious organized crime problems. If you want to see the real Ukraine try Lviv or areas in the Karpaty region. The further west you go the more Ukrainian things will get.

Ukrainian woman stealing can be had a town called Nicolaiv (?) near Odessa. Its a good wholesome place. Get a hotel in the city center. The cafe scene is pretty lively. Ukranian woman are way top heavy.

Bucharest - the stray abandoned kids, the cheat taxi drivers, the "guides"
made me run away from the train station. I fell in love more in the Ukraine then Romania for whats thats worth. The Romanians have distinctive noses.
Romania was dumbly cheap away from Bucharest.

I got busted twice laying in the sun here. No laying in the sun in the Ukraine. No sir!

Ukranians drink alot. All day. There is booze everywhere. They sell vodka using graduated cylanders and plastic cups. You can drink beer on the buses and movie theaters. They seem to have a closed container law. I got busted for snoozing in the sun again.
