I'm currently living here in Seoul, aftert reading some bad situations some people have been in and the difficulties with changing jobs due to the visa situation, i was hoping you could recomend me some reputable schools here in Seoul. I'd rather not go through a recruiter and get a job direct if possible.... any info will be appreciated

You may as well ask someone to tell you which number to place your bets on at the casino.

The hagwon/ public school/ university that was a joy for some will have been a total pile for others. There are some things to watch out for, (low enrollment, for example) but for the most part it depends upon what you're willing and unwilling to accept.

As for recruiters: They don't know crap about the situation at the hagwon and their rent depends upon getting you placed. You can let them contact you with hagwon info and then go directly to them yourself... a bit underhanded, maybe?

I'm looking too and you've made me curious, what is considered low enrollment and how do I know when that's the case? I'm applying from overseas btw.

There are still last minute SMOE (Seoul public school jobs) to be had. Contact footprints recruiting.
