Thanks for the attention. You must think more of me than others you disagree with.
Let me say that for once you have put up an article that I more or less agree with.
As for the rest the US .
The US and Israel didn't support Abu Mazen when he first came to power and the result was Hamas. Arafat didn't accept Bill Clinton's peace offer so it was understandable that the US didn't take him seriously but after he died the way the US and Israel refused to make meaningful concessions to Abu Mazen was a huge mistake and a lost chance.
Of course the US ought to be encouraging the Israelis and the Palestinians to talk. At the same time if Hamas wants international aid then they ought to change their policies . They are not entitled to international money for nothing. |
