Hi
Someone just told me this place is a dump. I'm looking for another opinion? I lived and worked in China before transitioning to Korea. Compared to China, no Korean cities look like dumps to me!
I'd love to hear from someone who knows this place well! |

The place is out in the middle of nowhere, quite a bit a ways from Seoul.
No much to do there. |

What's the expat community like in NYJ?
I am kind of trying to avoid living near U.S. military bases. I thought staying out of the big cities would be a good idea.
Is there anything nice in Namyangju... parks, lakes... anything natural?
Are the roads really terrible as I've heard they are? I'm sure the traffic is probably crazy so close to Seoul.
How about medical facilities? Would I have to go to Seoul to see a good doctor? |
