You'll find similar stuff in Japan and other places in S.E. Asia. It's called lack of exposure. I'm surprised there's not more here; there was a lot in Indonesia when I was there ten years ago.

I was amazed when I first saw one of the translations in those little 6000 word Eng-Kor dictionaries you can buy.

I don't see the big deal, besides the unfortunate "Black Boy" and "Black Girl" names of the characters, which are likely attributed to the bar's name rather than any racial insensitivity.

The characters have afros? Reaching.

I've seen a lot worse.
