I've not noticed this trend in Korean cinema. I have noticed the trend of naming your movie in this fashion:
[season][classical music term]
Spring Sonata
Summer Cantata
Winter Fugue
Fall Adagio
Monsoon Hoedown |

ok,how about:
WINTER LAUNDRY MADNESS
when thats a massive GLOBAL 21st century smash, the sequels can be..
SUMMER LAUNDRY WHITE BOY LESBIANS
SPRING LAUNDRY KIDNAP
FALL LAUNDRY SEXCHANGE SUICIDE
great working titles for JAD,and it makes them seem , somehow, more korean, and dynamic.
PS:I MENTIONED THESE PLOT OUT LINES TO SOME AMERICAN GIRLS I KNOW IN AMERICA AND THEY SEEMED REALLY INTERESTED AND EXCITED TO SEE THEM. REALLY,THEY DID!

Don't forget the granddaddy of them all.
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring. Count 'em. All four seasons. Four distinct seasons. |
