What is the deal with check in times for Love Hotels

Tried checking into one at 4pm and they only offered short time which wasn't what I wanted. They then said check in was 10:30pm.

Are you able to use them as standard hotel and leave stuff in the room all day and come back? I planned on stopping in Seoul for 3 days next week but I don't want to have to take my bag out of the room everytime I go out.

I've used yeogwans as normal hotels several times. I just pre-pay for the second day and leave my bags in the room, and take the key.

Barbershops are an option too. You can sleep in them all night long. If you promised to come back the next evening for another round, I'm sure they would let you keep your stuff there.

It would be awesome if a teacher lived a whole contract in a barbershop. I would like to find a sponsor and do that, then write a book about it.

I think it would be cool to live in a downtown hotel within walking distance of all the action. In fact, during my college years, I lived in a historic downtown hotel in a US city for several years that was rented as apartments since tourism and business travel was at an all time low. It was a very beautiful old elegant hotel with a huge lobby and enormous crystal chandelier, restaurant, bar, pool room, fitness gym, and all the fixens for a rock bottom $400 a month. The only drawback was having no oven to bake stuff in just the same as here and the job market for educated young adult professionals belonged to Indians and the Chinese immigrants.

No, usually love motels have you only stay one night and you have to pack your stuff around all day, but you would be better off staying at places like www.seoulbackpackers.com if in Seoul for a visit. You lock your backpack up in a locker in the front room. I understand that if you do want to put your stuff down, but not in a room, you can rent lockers in subway stations.
