It's been about three years since I have posted on these boards but had a spare moment so thought I'd look in and say hi to the board veterans who may remember me, they probably don't but there are one or two user names still knocking around that are familiar to me.

I was surprised to log on to find a PM from April 2007 waiting for me asking about the black & white lists I used to try and maintain, it is so nice to know I have not been totally forgotten about Smile .

Hi.

I don't know you.

Do you miss Korea?

What is your craziest story from K-land?

Hi Bibbitybop

My stay in Korea was by no means a long one, I really was never there long enough to miss it if you get what I mean. However I regret not being able to spend longer there but I wasn't willing to continue my working relationship with my employer a moment longer.

Would love to go back there one day though, been back on holiday once and had a thoroughly nice time, don't think I'll ever go back to work there though despite gaining a teaching qualification back home in the UK as I'm soon to be a father.

Craziest story? Lets have a nice one eh? Not really crazy at all but it touched me. I was eating in a sandwich shop in Gyeongbokgung if my memory serves me correctly, anyhow I did not have a drink and out of the blue this Korean woman came up to me with a coffee. It was such a nice gesture, even if she got it free and didn't want it the fact is she went to the trouble to find someone without a drink to give it to them; a very kind act.

Everyone on Dave's ESL gives english teachers a bad reputation. So normal people like Lost Seoul get hidden.

Normal people enjoying themselves in Korea don't waste time on Dave's ranting about BS and trying to convert people to other religions or political groups. They are out living, loving and enjoying Korea.
