Where you going for vacation? What is your adventure? I'm going to Bangkok and then taking the train to Angkor Wat in Cambodia. After I return to Bangkok, I'm going down south to Koh Samui for a week diving. Isn't vacation great? |

You are aware that it is not possible to take a train from Bangkok to Angkor Wat, right? And there are no trains to the Cambodian border. You might want to research this. |

Yep, I'm getting the train to the town near the border called Aranyaprathet and then I gotta get a taxi to Siem Reap. If you got any other suggestions for me I would appreciate? Thanks

I hear great things about Austin, but I wouldn't spend my vacation there either. |

I'm going to Mongolia for 2 weeks. First official solo-trip...I just decided to go today so I am alternating between excitement, trepidation and enthusiasm. |

I'm doing Hanoi alone starting next Saturday. If anyone is doing the same and wants to meet up...just holler. |

Only that taking a bus would be cheaper than a taxi. I came back to Thailand from Angkor by bus on that route. It's a long bit of rough road.
Should be fun though. Have a good trip! |

Thailand for 3 weeks for me! I've never traveled alone, so I'm a little nervous, but mostly excited! I hope I don't run into any problems, but I'm sure I'll be fine. Can't wait to beach-it-up! |
