My ARC card expired 14/4/07 about 3 months and 10 days ago.

I renewed my Visa same school and have E2 Visa but nobody there told me to renew my ARC. (I know, I know, I should just know these things)

I called immigration they said I have to pay 500,000 fine!!!

anybody ever had ARC expire and what happened? If I just leave it until I go home will it cause problems at airport immigration when I leave?

thanks for any help....

1) check the back of your ARC. Is there anything written there? Usually renewing you visa invovles immi writing some stuff on the back of your ARC. Did you go to immi to renew or did you boss tell you "oh silly foreigner, don't worry. I take care you. No problem."

2) If tehre's nothing on the back of your ARC. Go to immi. Watch the clerks for a while. Pick out which one looks the nicest. Tell them you are stupid and very, very sorry. Then beg for mercy.

Good luck.

Means period of stay (the Korean part)
Then they say the same in English

Then how long you can stay for...in this case 03/31/2008

So...you're safe.
No worries...back to the drinking Smile
