My favorite things in HK:

1. Mong Kok market in Kowloon. Great shopping, but best if you go with a local.

2. Victoria Peak (absolutely beautiful!)

3. Aberdeen, which is on the south part of HK Island. They have the largest floating restaurant in the world and a large community that actually lives on house boats! So cool!

4. Star Ferry, which affords gorgeous views of HK harbor and the skyline, which is among the world's best.

5. Wanchi, which is a cool shopping district.

I could go on and on, but you only asked for five places and those are the ones that came to my mind first.

HK is by far my favorite Asian city. So much energy and it's so beautiful. The architecture is really nice and classy, not cheesy like the Mainland Chinese cities. I'd move there in a heartbeat if I had the right opportunity.
