B-HAHAHAHA Laughing

think!

Thet really messed up the title of the Aerosmith song on t.v. (right now)

How does someone know English well enough to get the "wanna" part of the title right but put "think" instead of "thing"? It is obviously grammatically wrong and makes no sense in the song.

I'm just constantly surprised at the sort of mistakes that are made.

it struck my funny bone when I saw the big bold title of the song on Korean t.v. when it seemed so obviously wrong (to my students, they can hear the difference between g/k, after much practice) yet with "wanna" the person who made the mistake must have been a mid-level to high level esl speaker

any other doosies struck you?

Nothing wrong with it at all. In cockney English that is perfectly acceptable. Don't be such snobs!!!

Actually, you're right. It should be:

"I don(t) wanna miss a fink."

I had the interesting opportunity to teach a cheeky little 9 year old lass who'd learnt her English watching hundreds of reruns of Harry Potter. She'd practised speaking like Hermione so will, she actually had a PERFECT British accent. Though fortunately, not a cockney one...
