| I have been looking into adopting a dog in Korea, and I wanted to know what the approximate cost would be in won for the the essentials- vet, food, ect? thanks! |

Vet is about hte same as at the states.
Food is about 10,000 for a medium sized bag.
Costs are pretty much the same all the way around. |

| I adopted my dog from a vet in Gangnam (25 Hour Dog Hospital... or something to that affect) and they charged w40,000 for an exam but nothing for my dog and have given me discounts on all the stuff they sell and visits. I went to a lot of vets trying to adopt and it's not a popular concept here but the idea I got from most places (with no dogs) is that they don't charge because it's so hard to get the dogs homes. |
