Hi, i know most will be booked up right now, and i still dont know the exact dates for Chuseok, except that its towards the end of september.. but il ask anyway,Can anyone recommend a hot country to visit, to just sit on my backside and watch people ??
I would normally go climb a mountain but im feeling crazy,so i figured i should try a holiday Ive looked into India/Thailand/China etc however i dont want to spend too much, and china and india are not countries where i can watch people, too many people to watch
If anyone can help, please do |

| Consider Taiwan, it's close, good weather and not very expensive. 5 days is ideal too. |

| Your best bet would be to call a few travel agents (look in the FAQ sticky for names, recommendations and numbers) and ask what's still available. |

Also, although things may seem to all be booked up now - that's exactly how they are: just BOOKED, not paid for. Chances are there will be a few things open up closer to Chuseok when people have to pay for the trips but cancel because they decide that don't want to go.
At least that's what I am betting on - and waiting until September to see what's left. |

Prices are ridiculous thou.
One travel agent told me the cheapest ticket to Singapore for Chusok is 840,000 won + tax. |

Don't believe them.
Look on the Singapore Airlines website for deals. Right now, they are flying to S'pore for as little as 360,000 + tax - MUCH cheaper than any prices I've seen around. |
