with the stress on the second word.

Does anyone know what this means? It was said to me , in Korean of course, in response to me asking them , "why do you ask?" . I think they understood that.

I have given up trying to ask Koreans random phrases like this, as I dont think they listen, or if you accentuate it wrong, they dont understand it.

It ended up being pang AK , which means vacation.

It ended up being pang AK , which means vacation.


It actually ends up being "hak", as in 방학.

I've always used hyuga or yohaeng for vacation. That's what I hear Koreans using too.

More specifically it means school vacation - i.e. time when students don't come to school during the summer or winter (not an actual trip anywhere)
