I love to make fun of Korea. However, the nastiness on this board is even starting to bother me. So, in a lame attempt to lighten things up I want to post something I love about Korea. Here goes:
Students at my Hogwan are always in our staff room. Every day I leave cash/car keys/my wallet/cell phone lying out on my desk in plain sight. Nothing has ever been stolen. Could you imagine that ever happening in the West?
(now, as a public service announcement: newbies out there, don't be too carefree. there is plent of theft on the streets of Korea)

| My friend and I were checking out the cherry blossom festival when I street vendor stopped us to give up free fried dough thingies. We weren't even checking out the food to buy anything, we were just walking past. |
